Gateway Server Software

The standard "Gateway" Server runs several different peaces of software.

ICOM Standard Software

dsipsvd - This service is responsable for syncronizing the postrgres database used to hold all the gateway and user information to the trust server

dsgwd - This service is reposable for handling gateway traffic (User callsign Routing/Gateway Callsign Routing/Mulitcast Groups) between Gateways

Pete Lovell (AE5PL) Addon-Software

dstarmon - This service is responable for update dstarusers.org with last heard information, it operates independant of the gateway software, and is not required for the gateway.

Robin Cutshaw (AA4RC) Addon-Software

dplus - This service is responsable for linking gateways together for nets, and allowing dongle users to talk to the RF users, it operates pretty much seperatly from the gateway software, and again, it not required on a Gateway Server.

Brain Rhoode (nj6n) Addon-Software

gw_schedule (located in /dstar/scripts) , this script will check file hashes to confirm version, and also allow trust remote administration of your gateway.  (This software updates the dsync website)
